CareerMap student terms

Version 2026-07-01-24h-video

1. What CareerMap provides

CareerMap provides a student career mapping journey, AI-supported career coaching through CareerMap assistant, and interview practice through InterviewMe. CareerMap supports better reflection and decision-making; it does not guarantee a specific career outcome, admission decision, scholarship, job offer or assessment result.

2. Plan access and paid services

Plan access can be used to start Career Mapping, assistant sessions, InterviewMe practice packs and future CareerMap services. A standard starter allocation gives 12 plan access: 10 for Career Mapping, 1 for CareerMap assistant and 1 for InterviewMe. Plan access are deducted only when a student starts the relevant service.

3. Refund policy

Once a student starts Career Mapping, starts a assistant session, starts an InterviewMe practice pack, redeems plan access or accesses AI feedback or assessment content, the service is considered activated and is not refundable except where required by law. There are no partial refunds if a student completes only part of Career Mapping, uses only some assistant messages, records only some InterviewMe questions, or chooses not to complete an activated service pack.

Purchased or allocated plan access are not redeemable for cash. Any discretionary refund, correction or reversal must be approved by MindAlign / MA and may depend on payment status, usage history and applicable law.

4. InterviewMe video privacy

InterviewMe video recordings are short-term processing files used to create transcripts and coaching feedback. The video recordings are permanently deleted within 24 hours. The transcript, AI-generated feedback and improvement summary may remain available in the student portal.

5. Student responsibility

Students should answer honestly, use the platform responsibly and avoid sharing harmful, offensive or unlawful content. Students should not upload content they do not have permission to use.

6. AI guidance boundaries

the assistant and InterviewMe provide educational and career development guidance. They do not provide medical, clinical, legal or financial advice. CareerMap may suggest that students speak to a trusted adult, teacher, counsellor, parent, guardian or emergency service where the conversation suggests serious distress, danger or safeguarding concerns.

7. Company or school students

Where access is provided by a school, company or organisation, that organisation may manage allocations, projects and release workflows. Student data access and retention may also be subject to the organisation’s agreement with MA and applicable law.

8. Account changes and deletion

Students can request account detail changes or account deletion through the student portal. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, billing, audit, reporting or organisational reasons.
