How CareerMap protects student information
Version 2026-07-01-24h-video
1. Information we process
CareerMap may process student profile details, assessment responses, Career Explorer activity, assistant conversations, InterviewMe transcripts, InterviewMe feedback, plan/usage ledger activity, payment references and system audit records.
2. Why we use it
The information is used to deliver the student portal, personalise career guidance, support AI coaching, generate assessment/report outputs, maintain the plan ledger, protect platform security and meet billing, audit or legal obligations.
3. InterviewMe video retention
InterviewMe video recordings are retained for a maximum of 24 hours after upload and are then permanently deleted. The student’s transcript, written responses, AI-generated feedback and improvement summaries may remain available in the student portal for ongoing learning and development purposes.
4. What InterviewMe does not do
InterviewMe does not score honesty, personality, attractiveness, facial features, identity traits, mental health or emotions. Feedback focuses on answer structure, clarity, examples, communication and practical presentation habits.
5. Sharing and organisation access
For organisation-managed students, information may be made available to authorised administrators, mentors or reviewers according to the organisation’s CareerMap setup and release workflow. Private student data is handled through the private student account workflow.
6. Student rights
Students can request correction, export or deletion through the student account area. Requests may be subject to identity verification, legal obligations, billing records, audit history and organisation agreements.
